Salvador Rocha Rodriguez

Slavador is one of our second level Cyber Defenders and leads the evening shift cyber defense team.

From assembling his first computer at the age of 12 to experimenting with various operating systems, Salvador's early exposure to technology laid the foundation for his passion. Pursuing this passion, delved deeper into the realm of penetration testing, which not only honed his technical skills but also instilled in him the importance of ethical hacking as a means to strengthen cyber defences. Salvador was introduced to the critical role of Security Operations Center in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. His dedication and quick learning ability led to a full-time position as a Junior SOC Analyst where he worked through the internship and became a full second level defender.

In his current role,Salvador is responsible for monitoring and analysing the company's security posture, investigating security alerts, and contributing to the continuous improvement of detection capabilities. He is committed to staying ahead of the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape through continuous learning and professional development.

His ultimate goal is to become a seasoned cybersecurity expert, specializing in threat intelligence and incident response, and to make significant contributions to the field of cybersecurity.

Through his journey from a curious youngster fascinated by computers to a promising junior SOC analyst, Salvador embodies the spirit of dedication and continuous learning that is essential in the ever-changing world of cybersecurity.
